If you want to use Adaptive Modeler with a Windows Restricted User Account (no Administrator privileges), you can install Adaptive Modeler in any folder that you have writing access to (such as somewhere in your "My Documents" folder).

If you also have access to an Administrator account on that same PC and wish to install Adaptive Modeler in the "Program Files" folder (but still intend to use the program through your Restricted User Account) then this is also possible. However, in that case you may need to copy the "S&P500 (Day).csv" quote file to another location (if you want to be able to update it) and take special steps to ensure that models that use this quote file (such as the downloadable S&P500 index sample model) will be able to find the new location.
